  • Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of an Agri-Food Expertise Cabinet for the Monitoring of Deliveries and Control of the Quantities and Quality of School Foods for the Benefit of Educational Structures in Preschool and Primary Burkina Faso The firm will carry out its tasks in accordance with the prescriptions which will appear on the ToR. The services requested from the consultant are the following : • Carry out the preliminary inspection of the physical and sanitary condition of the stores; • Carry out the preliminary inspection of the food before unloading it in the stores; • Ensure the physical monitoring of truck unloading; • Check, by sampling, the weight of packaged foodstuffs (bags, cartons, boxes, cans) by weighing during unloading; • Set aside any foodstuff that has suffered damage; • Define weight loss and identify its causes; • Reject any package with non-compliant weights; • Assist supplier storekeepers in the classification and stacking of foodstuffs; • Carry out the verification of the physico-chemical quality of the food by food analysis of samples; • Compare the results of the analysis to the technical specifications defined in order to retain compliant batches; • Reject any foodstuff that does not comply with the technical specifications defined; • Gradually draw up reception and expert reports (detailed statements of truck unloading, storage location, quantities stored and quantities rejected by type of food); • Transmit whenever necessary, the situation of food accepted (contract, BL, certificate of expertise) to the contracting authority; • Develop a final agri-food expertise report in accordance with standards and forward it to the contracting authorities. The provisional schedule of services will be determined in relation on the dates provided for in the service orders of the suppliers of commodities and will be thirty (30) days per order.
