Description:
Tenders are invited for Impact Evaluation of Support to Small Scale Traders in Burkina Faso. The WB research team is seeking to contract a survey firm that will carry out the endline data collection exercise comprising a survey of small-scale traders in a selected subset of localities. The survey will collect information on economic activities and household characteristics for a sample of 2,506 small-scale traders in Banfora, Bagré, Bobo-Dioulasso, Bitou, Pô, and Tenkodogo.The firm will be responsible for - Activity 1: Action plan for data collection.- Activity 2: Translation, testing, and formatting of the electronic version of the questionnaire.- Activity 3: Preparation of enumerator training curriculum and materials, manuals and implementation of personnel training, and field test. - Activity 4: Recruitment, contracting, and payment of experienced enumerators and supervisors, the number of which should be approved by the research team.- Activity 5: Implementation of the fieldwork using tablets, including organization and provision of logistical support (transport, per-diem, etc.) to interviewers and supervisors while data are being collected, regular field reports and data consistency checks; cleaning, coding, and labeling of the final dataset.This Request for Expressions of Interest is for assistance from a consultant (survey firm) in conducting these endline data collection activities for this project.
