  • Tenders are invited for Engage a Consultant Statistical Analyst to Support a Trial On " Intermittent Preventive Treatment of Malaria in Infant (IPTI) Effect: Nigeria Operational Feasibility and Effectiveness IPTI” Our areas of expertise include: β€’ disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment β€’ disease control and elimination β€’ systems strengthening β€’ research, monitoring and evaluation leading to best practice β€’ behaviour change communication β€’ national and international advocacy and policy development Specific tasks for consultant 1. Receive briefing from MC team on assignment 2. Develop a statistical analysis plan for the cluster-randomised trial component of the IPTi Effect project 3. Contribute to the development of the IPTi Effect project analytical framework that will be used for results measurement in line with the project objectives. 4. Simulate the IPTi effect study trial to ensure right sample size and optimal design 5. Prepare the simulation report and recommendations (i.e., study design options, potential study outcomes), including raw data and code 6. Validate the analytical framework to conduct deep dive analysis of the data from the ongoing formative research 7. Contribute to the review of the statistical components of the trial protocol as it is being finalised for submission for ethical review 8. Respond to related queries and data needs and requests from the project-s technical team and key national partners, NMEP, SMEP, NPHCDA and SPHCDA. Deliverables for Consultant 1. Finalized a statistical analysis plan for the cluster-randomised trial 2. Structured inputs to the IPTi Effect project analytical framework 3. Simulation report and recommendations (i.e., study design options, potential study outcomes), including raw data and codes. 4. Validated analytical framework to conduct deep dive analysis of the data from the ongoing formative research 5. Structured inputs to statistical components of the trial protocol
