• Tenders are invited for Burkina Faso - Consultancy - Humanitarian Access (M/F) - Ouagadougou Founded in 1980, Solidarités International is a Non-Governmental Organization that brings relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs, food, drink and shelter. It always intervenes at the request of the populations concerned or their representatives, in cooperation with its local partners and with the fierce desire to constantly respect the humanitarian principles of humanity, independence, impartiality and neutrality. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, Solidarités International implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, of food security and means of existence. The mission opened at the end of 2018 to respond to the urgent needs of people displaced by the security crisis affecting the region of the 3 borders. In 2023 the mission is composed of a coordination in Ouagadougou, 2 field bases: · a Far North base in Ouahigouya - North region which covers the Ouahigouya base in the North and a sub-base in Kongoussi in the Center North, and interventions also in the Boucle du Mouhoun (mobile team) · a Sahel base - currently being set up in Dori - which covers the Djibo and Sebba sub-bases. SI has diversified its portfolio of interventions to address both the vital water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH), shelter and food needs of populations recently displaced by the conflict (RRM mechanism and other emergency interventions) and the impact of conflict over access to WASH public services and livelihoods, also integrating institution building and social cohesion issues. Most of the projects are implemented in consortium with INGOs, and, on some projects, with local partners. Only applications sent by email consisting of at least a CV and a cover letter will be taken into account and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The closing date is March 10, 2023; however, interviews should take place on a rolling basis and Solidarités International reserves the right to select a candidate before the closing date. Solidarités International reserves the right to cancel this consultation without prior notice.
