Description:
The main objective of this mission is to develop and provide a hydraulic simulation model adapted to the planning needs for hydraulic infrastructure on the entire price of the Volta river, its tributaries (black volta, white volta, pendjari-oti) and under tributaries. It is intended to be a model for allocation and management of water and ricochet resources, a decision-making tool for integrated and concerted development of the entire basin, mainly in the fields of hydro- Electricity, agriculture and navigation in order to be able to simulate the impact of the various existing or project structuring works. This fundamental tool will contribute, among other things, to the development of the Direction and Water Management Diagram (SDAGE) of the Volta basin.
